A supplement to the latest version of the RDP has been produced, highlighting key changes made to the England Operational Programme as part of the national mid-term review findings. Key changes include;
- The increased focus on helping people who are economically inactive by improving their employability and skills.
- Highlighting the relationship between European Social Fund (ESF), the UK Employment Action Plan and the European Employment Strategy.
- Reinforcing support for the revised Regional Economic Strategy (Progressing a Shared Vision) (RES) and the Framework for Regional Employment and Skills Action (FRESA).
- Highlighting the increased focus on Sustainable Development including additional regional and national guidance and links to the Sustainable Development toolkit.
- Regional equal opportunities targets to provide additional steer for setting priorities for support at regional and sub-regional level.
- Revised national outputs and outcomes.
