Information about the recent Avian Influenza outbreak in our region

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has confirmed that avian influenza has been found in turkeys on a premises on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, south west of Diss. Government vets have confirmed that the virus is the virulent H5N1 strain.
