Through extensive consultation with Partners, the East of England Development Agency has produced the second revision of A Shared Vision: the Regional Economic Strategy for the East of England, which was published in December 2004.
The Regional Environment Strategy sets out an agenda for celebrating, protecting and enhancing our natural, historic and built environment for everyone in the region. Launched at the Regional Assembly's 2003 Annual Meeting.
In May 2004, the region published its first Social Strategy. It aims to improve the opportunities of those living and working in the region.

A Regional Health Strategy is being developed, and once completed will be classed as a first tier regional strategy. It will provide the region with a strategic framework to improve health and tackle health inequalities. It will bring together the latest evidence and good practice examples to co-ordinate and inspire action at the local and regional level.
